What kinds of projects is it for?
Small everyday sewing jobs, including loose hems, clothing repairs, curtains, pillowcases and simple fabric crafts. It is intended as a compact repair helper rather than a full-size sewing machine for larger projects.
I’m new to sewing. Where should I start?
Start with the machine instructions and a practice piece of the same fabric. Get comfortable with threading, guiding the fabric and finishing the stitching before working on your item.
Can I use it on any fabric?
Fabric type, thickness and the number of layers affect suitability. Check the machine instructions and test a scrap of the same fabric before starting your repair. Do not force fabric through the machine.
Which set should I choose?
Choose Machine Only if you already have sewing supplies and want battery-powered operation. Choose the Complete Dual Power Kit for the sewing accessory set and the additional USB direct power option.
Does USB recharge the machine?
No. On the Complete Dual Power Kit, USB supplies power while connected. The machine has no internal rechargeable battery. For cordless use, it requires 4 AA batteries, purchased separately.
Are the pictured accessories included with both sets?
No. The USB power cable, thread, bobbins, needle, needle threader, extended spindle, thread snips and measuring tape belong to the Complete Dual Power Kit. The Machine Only option contains the handheld sewing machine.
